BFA30 – The Construction, Real Estate, and Infrastructure Sector’s Innovation Cluster for Sustainable Building

BFA30 brings together actors from across the entire value chain of the construction, real estate, and infrastructure sectors with the goal of driving the transition toward energy-, resource-, and climate-efficient, as well as bio-based, construction by 2030.

A Cross-Sectoral Innovation Cluster

BFA30 works to make the construction sector climate-positive, circular, and bio-based. Its vision is to halve climate emissions by 2025 compared to 2020, achieve climate neutrality by 2030 at the latest, and become climate-positive from 2035 onwards.

BFA30 brings together property developers, contractors, material suppliers, consultants, academia, and government authorities in an open, member-funded collaboration. Together, BFA30 works to:

  • Develop and disseminate climate-efficient and bio-based solutions

  • Strengthen the entire value chain with a focus on energy efficiency, circularity, and sustainable business models

  • Scale up and commercialize innovations through system demonstrations and collaboration

Resurseffektiv bebyggelse

The research and innovation program Resurseffektiv bebyggelse contributes to new knowledge and solutions without negative climate impact, while simultaneously developing buildings into active nodes in the energy system.
