ENERBridge aims to lower the threshold for housing associations (BRFs) to participate in the energy and digital transition by enabling scalable energy communities and unlocking demand-side flexibility. While existing solutions often presume a high digital maturity, BRFs face fragmented systems, costly onboarding, and lack of vendor-neutral tools.
ENERBridge brings together utilities, tech providers, and energy communities to develop an AI-supported onboarding methodology and business cases for integrating energy assets and data from automation systems. A concept for a vendor-neutral, open-source ecosystem will be developed to support secure and AI-ready buildings and energy asset integrations.
The project will bridge technical complexity and user needs, enabling BRFs to understand, compare, and act on their energy performance. Energigemenskap Hammarby Sjöstad will serve as a lighthouse case for testing and scaling, creating a replicable model for Sweden and internationally.
